I already know a few people who didn't like the choice of the best mitsu cause apparently the 3000gt had some fuck ups on it... I thought Scott should have gotten it, but thats my opinion... I herd the 3000GT wasn't even that special

any ICE... But, do you call Bazooka NOS bass tubes custom car show material? The only judges that judged his car were chuck and the dude from zucru. the roadsounds guys didn't even look at his car. Chuck said he voted in favor of scotts car. SO the only thing that couldve made the 3000gt win was the judge from zucru. He had volks and bass tubes. Stock motor. crappy paint job and was dirty as fuck. Just my .02. -
From the words of one of the judges I talked to, the judge liked scotts car more too, but it just didn't score as many points as the other car....wait, those were my words.

AGAIN, its not how good the car looks, or how much the judges like it, its how it scores on paper.

Just my .02.bazooka bass tubes>no ice bottomline...no matter how you look at it...and like chuck said its not personal preference its solely based on points...now i didnt look very closely at the car so i cant make any direct arguments...i can only restate what other people have said and the facts of the way the car show goes...I have no problems with scott whatsoever so its not like i hate him or something...hes a nice guy and we've talked a few times before...so yeah idk what else to say

all i got to say is SHIT HAPPENS!! now scott just has some area's to work on in his car to make it better then it already is.
-
not to start shit here but there is a lot of cars that win car shows that shouldnt, i mean anybody can spend a day on ebay buying shit and paying somebody to install it with enough money, i dont know maybe i just take pride in doing something myself and maybe doing something a little different then what ya find in a magazine
ive said this before and i'll say it again a body kit, wing, rims and lowering springs doesnt make ur car a show car,
i mean shit, god gave ya a brain and 2 hands use them
maybe this is why domestic based car shows always pull huge crowds and always will because u can go to these shows and wonder "wow how did they do that" not "wow where did he buy that"
i guess just call me old fashioned
-
You know what Schell? Thats the most hick thing you've ever said that made sense
He has a point though. Well, the other thing that helps the Domestic Shows is tons of advertising. HIN/SCN don't have a problem drawing crowds, but then again, everyone knows about them. I think once the tintmasters indoor show becomes an annual event it will just grow and grow and grow... -
nope....off the top of my head you could get a total of 10 points in each of ten categories...I'll list as many as I can remember
- Overall Impression (the only score where I could really let my feelings about a car show)
- Cleanliness/Detail
- Clean Paint
- Graphics/Custom Paint
- ICE
- Display
- Performance
- Exterior Mods
- Interior Mods
- I honestly don't remember what the 10th thing was.....
-
I think I would score like 11 points with that judging.
