there is nothing better then 91 at the pumps any where in fargo, moorhead. the only place that had 92 was bp's but they recently discountinued producing it, it doesnt make sense to make 91 and 92 they consolidated it to one which is 91, the only way u could get better then 91 in this area is if the fuel is delivered from the cities or south dakota which no one does, so basicaly if u see someone selling anything better than 91 they just havent re-stickered the pumps yet, unless it's brady's race gas at the pumps

Because last time I was there, I filled up with their 93 octane, and it didn't say it had any ethanol added either. Couldn't they get in big trouble for that?

thanks for the response. keep me posted about the truth about the the ratings being low. i was also wondering, has anyone ran into bad gas??
i filled up at stamart downtown Fargo and it was shit, my car ran like ass. idle was all over the place, it killed on me a few times. shitty.

whats the difference?? i like to think i know a fair amount about cars, and i know i had to run non-ox in my 69VW beetle, so really whats the diff?? oh and where is bradys??
-
brady's is in moorhead by interstate right on 8th st...its an philips 66 station...im not exactly sure the technical differences but ive always heard it was better like a better more true octane rating...oxygenated gas is supposedly made for low emissions so in other words its crap...
edit: see your beetle had to run nonoxygenated cause those cars were built to run on higher octane leaded gas...well thats basically your closest choice...

ah i see, thanks for the help, ill check out bradys soon, i think the GTi is getting low on fuel.
once again, thanks
Ted
