Raising the BS flag here, I've seen quite a few competition vehicles hit 150-160 dB and while the windows (OEM..not reinforced) were flexing, they never "Blew out"....I'm sure Wes can probably remember Mark Fukuda's yellow RF Blazer, it was the worlds loudest vehicle for quite a while, well he ran factory glass up to 160decibels. Unless by blew out you mean loosened the seals, that can/does/will happen on a high SPL vehicle and I suppose if the seals were bad long enough it could fall out.Ya, I remember thinkin that he wouldn't hold the record for as long as he did. I have never seen (in all my years in the car audio) glass "blow out". But as Chuck said, I have seen back windows of pickups push the seal out. But the lowest I've seen that at was 169db.

Wait a minute, I have seen a back window "break" from the car stereo. But it was because the rear glass of the S10 Blazer was rattling around from the bass and it shattered starting where the striker met the glass. Oh and I've seen a couple of other times when windows have been broke as a result of car stereos. That was from when they were stolen and they broke the glass. haha.

No argument from me on anything wes posted above^

alway curious to see it.

a/b/no weighting scale? Also was it to USAC/IASCA spec (no frequencies above 80Hz measured). I know the old "trick" used to be to use upper harmonics (think midbass/midrange frequencies) to spike the mics

W7s are because they displace the same amount of air as a 15'' woofer or somethin like that

well you guys can doubt me that the truck didnt blow out the back window...but it did... i seen it happen...
it couldve been for many different reasons like the weatherstripping was shitty so the glass rattled so much that it shatter.......you got to remember it was a SLiding back window....they are thin and shitty as fuck...but anyways... i seen it happen.

the subs and ports were right underneath the window...i have pics of the enclosure somewhere
