Old ones are coated with carbon from running a piss-poor tune. I had heard that bosch's don't agree with honda's....but what I really need to know is if I can simply have these tested...where, and how much.

go with some OEM ones. try resetting your ecu if you can. i'm not too familiar with hondas but it took my gsx a little while to get used to the idea of my new o2 sensor. just some thoughts.

OEM is an idea, but they don't come w/ a warranty....ever. Also, these bosch's have a warranty on them, so I should be able to replace them with something else at autozone...i.e. denso's

Yeah, check out your vtak cleaner too. I heard honda is going to stop selling the vtak cleaner so stock up now.. after this year you will just have to buy a new vtak. (or go grey market for 'tak cleaner... shhh).

Just funnin.. I had a civic ex when I was 17 and didn't know shit about cars and let me tell you, v-tec was the shit.

A way you can check to see if they are putting out the proper voltage, is to use a multi meter, and read the signal wire at the ECU to see if it is fluctuating between 0-1 volt DC. It will bounce all around at idle and normal cruise, but under full throttle it will sit at a value closer to 1v.

Nope, haven't touched the timing since the new dizzy...only thing to change is the 02 sensors. However, I double checked under my hood tonight because I have to order some
-an fittings for my fuel line...and I noticed it reaked of gas...and I notice a little pool of fuel accumulating on my intake manifold. Looked like it might have come out of injector #1....dunno if it's not getting a good seal or what?!?! Stoopid cars.

Who cares if the old o2 sensors have carbon? If they work better than the Bosch's, why don't you want to put them back in?

if there is gas around it i would replace it just to be sure try that and see what happens then try the old o2 sensors in there again

if youve R&R'd the injectors a lot maybe its a good idea to replace the O-rings...its a cheap insurance policy if nothing else...

Yeah, I'm going to go ahead and get a new injector o-ring set. The old 02 sensors have moved on to a better place. I'm going to replace them and the o-rings and see what happens.

FYI update: located the problem...it was a torn injector o-ring on injector #1. Cause: AEM fuel rail; as it turn out, the opening of the aim rail are not as large as stock, making the o-rings easily torn.
