nfsu 2 isn't very good, every bit as unrealistic as the first one. the suvs are a waste of memory on the disc, space that could've been used for more data on physics. i did sort of enjoy the drag strip.
how fast have you gone in the 1/4, and what car? best 0-60, and what car? i did some pretty impressive things, when i had access to it for 5 days.
i was quite surprised at what some cars could do and others (that i expected better from) could not do in a straight line

Drag mode sux. You cant fucking even steer like in the rest of the game. You may be able to change lanes at best.It was cool for the first 3 days and then I beat it and the novelty wore off. Ive went start to finish 4 times and with diff cars. Yhe skyline drags best, and of course the miata handles the best hands down. The onlyy redeeming part of the game is the two player catch me if you can mode. The kids and I have fun on it.

the second is a little cooler like how you can tune your car on the dyno and shit...hell i got like 37 more hp just from messing with the turbo and ECU

It looks like a mildly decent game but it probably isn't. I want to rent it but we dont have it in Fergus.

SRS can suck my balls. It's like you took NFSU2 and gave it Ridge Racer physics and gave it Nintendo 64 graphic's.

Edit: I started playing though NFSU2 today, it's ok other then the SUV's....

i'm not referring to the drag mode... i'm talking about the timed 1/4 in the dyno mode. is anyone confident that they've done the best possible?
fastest 0-60? is anyone under 2sec?
fastest 1/4? is anyone under 11sec?
just a little friendly competition...

i've had a few under 11 sec. using Nitrous.
and some in the 10's without nitrous.

When i had the game....i ran about an 8.90 or so with nitrous....0-60 somwhere around the 1.87 zone....once i get my xbox fixed and rent the game again i can tell you for sure.

It just looked like it had a good career mode with being able to go from dirt track all the way up to NASCAR. Pls no spinners.

don't buy it, waste of money. if you liked the first one... keep playing it, this one is pretty similar
