(this corn was 6' tall and VERY healthy)

basically outside of our alfalfa I'd estimate we're looking at a 90%+ crop loss across the entire farm. Guess this is the disadvantage of having the vast majority of your land in one place. Uncle is looking at about the same if not more loss.

I had JUST gotten home with my Tahoe before it hit. Have a feeling I may be looking for a new job sooner than expected.

it's estimated at 54 miles north to south and 12 miles wide with the severe hail damage.

This was in Page. Started somewhere up around Finley the way it sounds and ran all the way down to about interstate 94. (so figure a line from about 30 miles west of Fargo that runs north north-west for about 50 miles).

Just found out this morning now as well that it hailed twice on some of our crops - once at about 6:30 and then again at about 8:30-9:00.. of course the second time around wiped out some of the stuff that wasn't hit too bad the first time.

and yeah Jason, we just had a tornado run through here not that long ago. Freak ass storm popped up about 15 miles south of here and ran right down main street. Thankfully it picked up over town (there may have been at least 2 of them in the cell) so there wasn't much for damage in town.

oh yeah, then we lost power with the second set of storms and were without power for 3 hours. Thankfully I was able to grab one of our generators out of a fire unit to keep power to the sump pump and keep the basement dry.

Gotta go back to looking over the house today. I think this one finally did in our worn shingles on the house as there are chunks and a pile of asphalt under each of the downspouts. Broke one window and tore up 3 of the screens, garden is flat... Ran into an old high school classmate who's in from California and his 300C is probably going to need a new hood, trunk, and roof skin as I'm not sure that'll come out with PDR.

we here in sd have been very lucky (hail waise) with our crops this year, hail can be devistating.
but we could use a couple inches of rain
