well..... Matt and Logan came through and got all my stuff back from the two HS kids that stole the shit, plus my helmet which i didnt even realize was gone
plugged the haltech in with no turbo manifold or anything and it started right up.... so i am fairly thrilled now.
So all know it was two kids, and they were at my car for 3hrs doing what they did!
I can assure you that Matt and Logan were not responsible for this, so please dont assume they did, I am grateful to them for talking some sense into the thieves and getting it back for me

They weren't responsible no, and it's an awesome thing that they did. That being said, they are protecting criminals...I'm sure the FPD would be VERY interested in finding out about these people and seeing if they are connected to any other thefts in the area. Fingerprints, any way of connecting them to other crimes.

Holy shit thats awesome. That shows that are are a few good people out there anyway. You are a very lucky man Zac! But I honestly don't think you should let these little faggots off that easily either. They should at least be turned in to the police and be taken to court for theft and anything else you can nail them with. The did bend a fin on your turbo too. Then after all that, they should still get a good beating. This shit makes a guy want to keep a couple baseball bats handy at all times.

So everyone.... give your opinions, what should be done? I guess i could tell the PD that matt and logan know who did the theft, but i really dont want them scrutinized since they got it back for me.
these kids could be responsible for more thefts in the area who knows....
let me know what you think should be done, i have to tell the officer tommorrow that i got everything back, at that time i could persue some other action

The only thing the PD would do more than likely regarding Matt and Logan would be to find out who the kids were. You NEED to tell the PD this because all our cars could technically be hit by these screw ups. If anything, have Matt or Logan call the FPD themselves and report it, that way they don't risk having an anal cop try press charges on them too for aiding/abetting. Otherwise you could just tell the PD that Matt and Logan helped you get the stuff back so when the Police go to them (they will go to them) they know that they aren't the bad guys.
The only certain thing though is that the kids need to be taught a lesson because this just instilled in their minds that getting caught means nothing as long as they give the stuff back. They'll just try harder not to get caught in the future. Screw them, make em burn.

I couldnt agree more, i had one of my Snowmobiles stolen back in the day, and thank god mine was the rare one cuz that is how we caught them and helped out about 20 other people who got their shit jacked.

ya, i am pretty sure that the redfc was at the track the day my shit was jacked. who knows, maybe he got my stuff, if they are ballsy enough to do that to zacs car, swipping back packs at a busy area is nothing.
cause i dont want to know what would have happened if zac found them doing it.
and zac, if you still want to stick with the gt42, LMK, and give me the CHRA number and well get a price on a new one for you when my dad is back next week.

These kids need to be dealt with. This does not mean taking it out on them by kicking their asses or whatnot. They need to be turned into the police. Someone that goes through that much effort has stolen things before. One way or another, names will come out and the kids responsible will be held accountable for their actions. I hope that those involved can step up and do the right thing and give Zach the names. The kids that stole his stuff are COWARDS. They will talk big but they won't put their money where their mouth is. Turn them in and do the right thing. I would be willing to bet that they are in posession of a few more things that do not belong to them.

One turn in could lead to another and another. This isn't the biggest city in the world and Im sure there aren't THAT many people tied into a auto hopping ring.
To prevent other break ins, this has to be done.

I would think that they definately screwed up your turbo and that needs replacement, those definately don't retail for cheap at all. Possible vandalism?? At the absolute minimum, i would find out who they are and make them buy you a new turbo and anything else that they damaged at all. If they don't pay up asap, they can get arrested and have to pay retribution on that stuff anyways. But i would turn them into the cops. Fuck them.

It was not matt nor logan that gave me this name, just another person who knows what is the right thing to do
His name is Landen Sors and goes to South....
