I would try to find a 99 or later 750 Monster. Anything earlier than 99 had issues with the head studs and the stator nut. Also when you buy one replace the timing belts, the belts are like $70 and it takes about 45 minutes to install but they need to be replaced every 2 years or 12,000 miles.
Oh by the way I ride a 2001 Ducati Monster 900Sie

I will be out riding my '05 cbr 600RR in Grand Forks and will make some trips to Fargo to ride also. And of course I will be back at the track running and trying to set new track records again.

I love it. I just gotta get the cam chain replaced, appointment is allready set up this week at U-motors. If you can believe it ma's cycles quoted me $200 for chain and ten hours of labor! then went to U's and quoted me $100 dollars for chain and 2 hours/3 hours max for labor. also the chain that links to the back tire is loose so that needs to be tightened. Im satisfied so far though.
