Wow, that is impressive. Looks to be good competition for the Z06. We'll see how it stacks up on the 1/4 and on the road course.

The Z06 will still be faster, lighter, get better mpg, looks a hell of a lot better, and doesn't cost 100K with dealer mark ups.:stirpot:

The GTR weighs almost 3900 lbs. What a pig, with less hp. Thats more than my fatass trans am.

im guessing it will do 11.40's at around 117-118, which will beat most stock zo6's, just from a lack of traction. Its alot harder to get a ZO6 moving than that thing, all you do is mash the pedal in the r35. But it wont hold a candle to a ZO6 from a roll, it is one big ass tank

We will see, I think it will be pretty close 1/4. For all we know, he could be a really good driver. The new Z06 has been to 11.1 stock everything, high 10's with sticky tires.

The first two US market R35 are in the states. As of about 5 pm yesterday someone snapped pics of two white R35's outside a shop in cali.

Jeeez...y'all are forgetting that EVERYONE thought Skylines were ugly until 2 Fast 2 Furious. Then everyone jums on the R34 bandwagon, hardly realizing there was even an R33 in the first one, haha.

They ain't made to be pretty. They're designed the way they are to incorporate superior aerodynamics, and guess what! The GT-R has a lower drag coefficiency than the Z06.

The GT-R is faster than the 911 Turbo on the Nurburgring, which was Nissan's target. The Z06 will fall to it in performance. Sales, however...I know that all the GT-R's are going fast. FL had all preorder slots filled at the beginning of the year. Whether it will beat the Z06, who knows.

And y'all are calling the GT-R a pig...shit, a C6 ain't a featherweight either, ya know.
