cleaning intake manifold
-
I didn't have time to take care of it before I put it in the first time (needed to get the car running) but my intake manifold has a nice thick layer of crap in the plenum and runners. any idea how to get that shit out? i was thinking some kind of wire brush attached to a drill but I can't seem to find what I need (a long shank or something). ideas?

just bring it to quality and have it cleaned. or if your cheap or just like a diy project. go to the nearest whale of a wash and spray on some simple green and wire brush that shit, then spray with the pressure washer.

I can possibly do it. Post pic. I have some equipment that works good on that. Would depend on what you want done, and by when.
A pressure washer with hot water is going to do more then simple green/purple power.
Carb Cleaner>Brake Cleaner any day of the week when it comes to stuff like that.
