As of now the show is set up as follows subject to change:

8a-11a - Vendor Roll In/Early Bird Car Entrees
11a-3p SHARP - Car Roll In
4p-9:30p - Show
9:30p-10pish - Awards
10p-2am - After Party

The only way these times will change, is if I can get roll in to start the evening before the show.

Being we don't have the MAJOR annoyance of 2 show rooms, roll in will be slick! Everyone will enter via the loading dock (which is slanted PERFECTLY for lowered/dumped cars), stop at the table right inside the dome to check in and get assigned to your spot. Go and get setup....done. There will be wider walkways, which will make moving around/getting settled much easier, as well as give the opportunity to have clubs arrange their cars how they want....

Of course I wouldn't run the show til 12am and then have an after party....Have a little faith guys! 🙂

I also got an email today from a very pumped individual that will be bringing a RHD FD RX7. I am trying VERY hard to have a plethora of RHD cars at the show. The EVO III and JDM WRX's just became available to Canada, and I am trying to get some at the show. Even in stock form, those cars would be awesome. We should also have plenty of RHD Honda's as well.

I just want to go on record of stating that past years shows were excellent and a welcome event to the FM area. This years show should be absolutely amazing. Tintmasters goes through a ton of effort to make these events happen (ESPECIALLY JASON). I hope I speak for everyone when I say I want these shows to be even better this year and every year going forward.

For that to happen, they need our help as well. They need help promoting this show. I know a lot of us are active on many different regional and national forums, so I'm asking everyone to help promote this thing as much as possible. Post pics of past years shows, talk about the fun atmosphere, talk about the drunk guy giving out the Veritas "Tru Pick" award....just talk about the show!

I've done fairly well at this show for the past 3 years, there is nothing I'd like more than to get my ASS KICKED in the Subaru division this year! Why? Because it would raise the bar for myself and others.

I know you and I have talked already Jason, but if there is anything Veritas Racing or myself can do to help, please let me know.

Thanks Chuck and thanks to those that offer any help possible. I can only promote so much, and I don't always have the broadest reach. In some cases, people view me as a 'tintmasters' employee, and being they don't shop here, they don't want to be a part of P10 or help making P10 bigger/better. Chuck (amongst many other) is a perfect example of someone that fricken owns a competing business, but recognizes what shows do for the industry. Someone may see a really cool audio setup, and go to Chuck to buy it (no no come to me hahah). I want everyone to feel welcome at P10, which is why this year I am trying to keep 'tintmasters' out of my mouth. Obviously the show will reflect tintmasters in MANY ways, but I don't want someone that doesn't shop here to feel like they are not welcome.

Please help spread the word. Enter your car/truck/van/SUV/bike, and get ready to have a good time.

Registration will be available early/mid June. We foresee issues with having cars register now, then find out later they can't make it. I don't want to keep someone's money due to no refunds. When the registration is available, it will be on the www.tintmasters.net homepage, as well as www.perfect10show.com.

i know i am on facebook....how about a rep who is also on FB setting up events for things happening in the area? such as P10, street legals, auto-x's and so on.

as for getting word out on other forums.....i am sure questions will be asked about can i enter this or that? do i have to have crazy mods done? and so on. how do you answer questions like that?
i know last mar for HIN Chicago there were some grand prix's that were unexpected. all 3 on dubs. one a wild paint job, one pretty stock but clean and the 3rd had lots of CF. well we all know they are not sport compacts. but they did get some attention.
not trying to push them, just wanting to get things in the open is all.
year before that there were several jeep's that were lifted and read for the rocks and mud as well as a few other lifted trucks. do they fit here?

i for one am always scouring the boards and web to find events in the area to attend. it is not easy to do. i am a car guy. do not care what kind of car it is. i want to check it out. of course some i like more, but a well put together car is just that a well put together car and it deserves some respect in my book.

i would love to submit an entry for my GP, but it is not a sport compact as well as it is still stock. so really it does not fit in.

will stop there.

well i'm sure there will be families there, having girls running around with little to no clothing is tacky as hell. i can understand having them later in the day or at night. I went to car craft down it the cities and it was sick. Don't get me wrong guys there's nothing wrong with showing a little skin but there is a point when it's too much. What kind of message do you think there sending to younger girls that come? Take your clothes off and get some attention?

So are you against models completely around there? Or, just the scantily clad ones?

Example......
Do these women qualify as something that is "tacky"?
legacy image

How about these?
legacy image

or these
legacy image

How about this young lady? Is she tacky?
legacy image

Is she anymore tacky here with my 17 yr old?
legacy image

Don't get me the wrong way. I'm mearely trying to guage what the female portion considers trashy, tacky, or offending.

Are you kidding? Carcraft isn't bad at all, theres really nothing there that I can even see anyone being offended by, unless of course you went to the bikini contest that they usually have on sunday, in which case if you don't like that kinda thing why would you go?

I have watched things on TV that are WAY more offensive then what I have watched at any of the P10 car shows.

Being a Sport Compact type of show, certain things can be expected. I do not expect to change the TV and see two guys with their hands down each others pants and shit like that at 8pm on non-cable TV. But, it does happen.

My Dad goes to the P10 shows and didn't make comments except for the music, but he understand it goes with the younger crowds, just like when he was young.

Sport compacts/ sport bikes have become the motorsport craze of the current teenage generations. Along with shows displaying this motorsport, some other past times of the generation are to be expected, things such as loud music, awesome light shows, and girls in swimsuits... as John says, turn on your tv and just watch some of these shows. P10 will be much more mild than near anything on MTV/VH1

no race car? becuz homeowner...

Don't get me wrong guys there's nothing wrong with showing a little skin but there is a point when it's too much. What kind of message do you think there sending to younger girls that come? Take your clothes off and get some attention?

I agree. Models are fine. But if you add more and more every year it will probably end up in less younger kids being able to go. Speaking from experience my parents already hate that I go to p10 and buy stuff from tintmasters because of what they THINK they represent. Just what I think
