Do you actually want to discuss any of the points I make about using HID bulbs in non-HID optics, or do you just want to point out that you don't care and have done so anyway?

As far as being an asshole or a WPOS.... your police record probably says more about this than your headlights.

The conversions vary widely but this will give you an idea.
              http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4-x6-Diamond-Headlight-Conversion-Kit-H4-Socket-H4656_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247QQcategoryZ33710QQihZ003QQitemZ130194518480QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V

The bulbs run about $20 a set, much cheaper than an HID kit, but with the conversion you will still lose your high beams, unless you find a kit that will accept a 9004/9006 or a 9003 bulb.
