Well thrash REAL clubs go to car shows and some times put on car shows but mainly put alot of money into their cars for people to look at and just to show off what they can do to a car if someone puts there time and money into it.hmm.. i thought a REAL club was one where ppl that shared an intrest of cars get together and have a close knit group, whether its shows, races, cruising or just hanging out together... I guess i'm wrong and to have a car club u need a bunch of trailor queen show cars...

OG Northern Animation and OG Combat Zone ftw.
If you weren't in either you're too young.

And we do have requirements but it isn't like we are like "your car needs to be all finished in order to be in our club".....
Everyone starts somewhere, according to you may think things are "slapped on" but to someone else they like it and if it's there car they should do what THEY like, not try and impress other people...
That's my two cents
K thanks bye

I'm Flattered!

Now someone start a new thread on "how to start a new car club"

AJ, I have zipties holding body parts on my car......... However, my car does not look like shit. I am working on getting my car to be a car show worthy car, but it will also be a race car more then a show car.
Would be sweet to see some more car clubs back in the area.

well i know you guys but more like a auto x team or something like that. your cars are too nice just to stay just a race club. im talking like beat up cars with "zip ties holding body parts on LOL"So a drift car? Many of the nicest drift cars are zip tied
together and busted up. And they also win hin type shows for different aspects. Not trying to argue but there are plenty of exceptions to everythingCOMBAT ZONE FTW

Shane, Syrie, Shane, Kyle, Jesse, Matt, and Kevin, Congrats on the new car club. I really hope everything goes well. It is not always an easy task starting something from the ground up, but if you have a vision, you should definitely follow it. I do look forward to seeing you guys out and about at the shows, and other events, because I do know most of you, and you are pleasant, and respectful people.
Now on to my rant....
While many of you "OG's" do not value my opinion, here it is anyways. There is not one perfect car club, team, group, etc... for everyone. Everyone has their own ideas and opinions, and I just wish that people on here would respect peoples ideas once and awhile, or at least not jump on them for being "stupid" because they have an idea that may differ with their own.
Here is a little history from my personal experiences. Combat Zone and NA, yes I am old enough to remember these clubs, I was the guy driving around in the glowing spaceship wishing to have a car up to those standards one day. My Mustang was obviously not the "mold" for either crew, and I really was intimiated by these people because they were very rude (much like this site 9/10 of the time) when you would try and assoicate with them. So I decided with a few friends to have a ROLLING/CRUISIN CAR CLUB, Mystic Dreams, then it changed to Team Xclerate. I had a GREAT TIME!. At this time the OG crews started to fade, and really the only "crews" driving around town were Envious Creations and Team Xclerate. Funny the only thing these "crews" did was cruise...... And A.J was apart of Envious and I was apart of Xclerate. After Xclerate I tried out for Combat Zone when I got the S2000, but it still had parts missing, and was definitely not ready. I was initially disappointed, but ultimately this was a good thing because it allowed me to help start something new, which shocking for most of you to think of, but with people from another club. Obviously you can tell I hold a grudge with all the TM logos on my car! Oh, and BTW, Ground Assault started as a cruising club, that wanted to do shows occassionaly, but none of us knew anything about the show aspect. So no, I and I hope the rest of the team do not think that a car club must fit into this nice mold of a "show team," it is just the path we have chosen.
Since we started Ground Assault we have evolved, but that doesn't mean we, especially myself, "hate" the other car clubs/teams for being different from us. Examples: Chuck with Veritas, who sponsored Scotts eclipse, or the time Veritas, Tintmasters, and Ground Assault all particiapted at SCN as one big team.
So what I am saying in a nutshell for eveyrone who was too lazy to read and who skips to this part, is that there is plenty of room for more car clubs in the area, clubs which do not have to hate each other because they are different it ideology.
Oh, and BTW, everyone who thinks I am chickenshit, and not really a tuner because I do not drive my vehicle ANYMORE can get fucked!, because I probably do not value your opinion, but normally I try and keep those types of things to myself. Opps, I've been disprespectful, but I thought that was what this site was all about.
Have a nice day
Tony S.
