looking for a beater car... i need something better on gas than my blazer.. car needs to run and drive.. looks dont matter.. looking to spend less than $1000 for now... post up what u have.. thanks guys

89 mazda b2200, somewhere around 180-190k on the motor, smokes, doesn't burn much oil though, never needed to top it off. Probably just needs valve guide seals, I'll include the entire gasket & seal set with the truck.
2.2l 4cyl, somewhere around 20 mpg? I've never really checked, but 5 gallons gets 100+ miles no problem before the needle's back on E.
tune-up last summer, put on a few hundred miles before parking this winter. drove it a few miles to check it out recently, ran pretty nicely. doesn't look all that pretty though, did take some hail.
monoleafed & torsions cranked.. so it's a lowered minitruck. should have pictures sometime soon.let me know if you want to look at it. I'll be putting up a 'for sale' thread sometime soon here.
