Take any member of the army of squids in the FM area and I bet any one of them can do a wheelie for you, can any of them actually ride? Hardly, and they all prove it day in and day out by weaving in and out of traffic, riding ridiculously fast, and cutting off cars. There are plenty of lake roads to learn on as long as you stay safe and don't push it to hard. One of my favorites is the backroad to DL through Downer. If I'm not mistaken there is also a track in Brainerd as well.

any body can do power wheelies and ride them for a distance a high speed. but it does take skills to be able to slow them down and ride them a a low rate of speed. it takes lots of throttle and brake control like Derek said.

This is exactly what I was thinking.

Your right it takes no skills to burn rpms in a wheelie, but to everyone doing it in a parking lot is riding only idle. The means only brake use unless they fall out of balance point and need to blurp the throttle to knock it back in. Huge difference.

Harwood you'll be looking forward to supermoto more and more. What little I have rode it, its been a blast. Completly different than track racing. Those guys have some talent hands down. Takes a little bit of everything and mixes it into a crazy sport.

your retarted, if you cant do either then why are you preaching on what you see??? yea they both take skill, and yea one might be harder than the other. but do you know?? do i know??? NO. you are the last person that can even open an oppinion about it, ESPICALLY since you even said you cant do either.

so my question to you is, how do you know what take more skill??

              Welcome to Fargostreet.

I think ihaveaids(nice name by the way) should join honda-tech.com, he'd feel much more at home there.

I usually don't get in on the bike discussions but for some reason I clicked on this thread, curiosity for the most part I guess. So, after reading ihaveaids (again, nice name) ramblings I thought I had to add something. First off I'm just going to say I never really understood the whole stunting thing and to be honest I though it was quite stupid in fact, seeing people with nice ass bikes wreck them while attemping to do stunts or doing stunts on busy streets and highways, NOT COOL. But now you see, after it's caught on and has almost become a sport in itself and the riders using, shall we say, recycled bikes that are modded and stripped into a purpose built bike made specifically for stunting, I find it rather interesting and entertaining. Although I've never seen a show in person, mostly on the boob tube, anybody with half a mind can tell that shit's not easy to pull off. I mean, almost any kid can ride a skateboard but throw him in a half pipe and he's coming out with some broken bones.

^^^Nope. Although I am out and about almost everyday with my room mate helping him with various apartment cleaning and repairing duties. Man I've got to get real job soon, that shit sucks. As of right now my cars most distinct features would be no plates(temp in the back window), a big dent in the back bumper cover, passenger side front bumper is somewhat stitched together with red zip ties(adds character) and a Moen faucet logo below the civic emblem on the bumper(being a goof ball).

I have gone out on more than one occasion with these guys and the shit that they do pushes me to work harder and try to achieve there level. I know I won't get there anytime soon but im slowly learning. Say what you want about stunting but I would rather do/practice that for multiple hours than cruise around. Just a personal opinion. BTW thats my R6 w/ the red gas tank in the last picture.
