Ok. So me and Shane just come out of hornbachers with a bunch of groceries getting somethin to eat for dinner and i notice... hey, theres a note on my window. Shane goes to look at it and it says
"LMBEAU"
I witnessed a cart strike your car. the person responsible had a car with a personalized plate with the above name
my name is ... #...
the employer who removed the cart is ..... at hornbachers.
Shane and I go to look on the hood and HOLY FUCK
Called up the guy who saw it, some fuckin lazy ass dude pushed the cart supposedly "near the cart rack" and the wind caught it and the cart slammed into my shit and wedged in the front. the employee at osgood had to pull it off.
FUCKIN PISSED
and you know what fargo police department does? oohhhh its an accident with only "slight" damage but i'll do the accident report for you so you can put it under YOUR insurance
ARE YOU FUCKIN KIDDING ME!?!?
fuckin 1000 bucks worth of damages and i have to put it under MY SHIT.

hard to see in the pictures but there are tons of scratches and a that long one has a huge dent all the way down on it and it and a light dent its deep. police report even says 950.00 i was guessin a grand cause my hood when it was damaged was 5 grand and the dent was not as bad as this one and the hood for mine before it got painted was 1000.00 itself. so ya it def. 1000.00 dollars worth of damage.

No shit. Obviously if you push a damn cart in a parking lot, you automatically see where it goes there is no way that person didn't see their damn cart wedged in my shit. cuz the guy said that the employee had to pull it off since it was wedged. bbbuulllshit. reallly pissed off. -

That sucks Shandon. I'd call the police again and demand that they at least question the person. Have the employee who witnessed it file their version of the story as well with the police department. Then take the person to small claims court if the cops won't help. Yes, it may have been an accident, but that doesn't mean that they aren't still responsible for their actions.

At least somebody left a note and gave you a starting point toward having the asshole pay for it. Good luck with that one.. I've been hit-and-run way more than I'd prefer. Pretty much every car I've owned has been hit by somebody who just left, at some point. People are fucking irresponsible. If I'd seen it happen.. you may have had somebody pinned under their cart in front of your car when you came out of the store.
