I've always wanted to try this stuff. I wonder if we'll be able to get it our local liquor store? Although, $60 a bottle is a little steep for my wallet for a bottle of happy juice, maybe if I come across a bottle I'll splurge a bit.
If you want all the absinthe paraphernalia (glasses, spoons, fountains) it gets a bit spendy to.

I tried a bottled drink that had absinthe in it before, and it was pretty gross. Maybe the straight stuff will be better.

no the shit in the us does not have wormwood or thujon in it and we have had it in SD for about a year now and it tastes alot like good and plenties

By the sounds of it even the countries that were formerly supplying absinthe with wormwood/thujone are no longer adding it...the green fairy or whatever it's called isn't like being "twisted" as many believe it to be.

I've also tried it and it tastes terrible. I had it straight though. It doesn't make you hallucinate, thats just a myth, but it will fuck you up good because of the alcohol content.
