Heres an idea. I personnaly think your cuises are fucking gay. I am usually one of the last ones, and between people speeding and weaving through traffic (Bunique) and blasting through yellow lights, i usually end up just going home cause i can no longer keep up or even see anybody. I prefer hanging out because of this. But, what we used to do down south where people have alot better shit to drive, go for an actual drive. Head out of town, actually go somewhere and hit up #10 or interstate so instead of sitting at stoplights we can do some nice spirited driving and keep the group together. On a side note, some of us that actually make real power in our cars burn alot more fuel in town. I get 10-15mpg in town but 20-30 on the highway btw so i can do some serious road tripping and come out ahead.
Also i hear from faber there is a awesome road around with some curves? That would be fun to go down and get some g's going as well. -

Back in 'the day' when I used to cruise, I didn't even bother getting into large groups. Hell, I'd go out and burn up 70-100 miles worth of gas alone just running around main-45th-13th-10th over and over all night long by myself or with a friend or two in the car with me.
But yeah, I'd rather sit in a parking lot BS'in all night instead... meh, oh well.
Not to mention the number of cars that burn oil in this group.. Fuck, it's riding in a god damn cloud trying to stick with this group.

I agree with you too chuck, I used to cruise with the group which was fine but there were some times people would drive a lil crazy and I've had people that remembered my truck out of the bunch cut me off or harass me because my truck out of the group sorta sticks out like a sore thumb, so usually when I cruise I do it alone. I've also been almost hit a few times because of it. My truck isn't made to swerve fast and cut people off so best bet for me is to stay away lol. So if anyone wants to just cruise and not try and piss people off hit me up I'm game.

just CRUISING is boring, then all we are is a parade of cars that most people laugh at when we drive by. i like hanging out in the lots and everything but getting on it is way more fun. the parade cruises last WAAAY to long. go from one spot to another is the most they are good for, kmart to TB. TB to tintmasters. other than that its just wasting gas.

The one time I got into a saturday night around-town convoy (this was last summer) a big pile of carts almost rear-ended each other in a train.
As I recall, it was to make the University South -> 32nd Ave West turn. People were in both lanes on Uni and people were divebombing into the turn lane from the far left lane. I was back a little ways and saw this happening and just drove on past. There was a huge amount of brake lockup (lol at shitty cars with non ABS) and a few people who weren't part of the convoy almost got taken out.
I was pretty unimpressed with the quality of driving on display. I have to imagine most people knew that turn was coming..
There is nobody in this town capable of impressing me with their driving on the street. There are a lot of people I'd like to chat with about how they built their cars or what their road course experience is like. You don't accomplish either of those things when out cruising and standing around talking is free, so I vastly prefer the latter.
