no they are. we do work on a lot of the car in there club, and we also work on cars in playtime. so are they are club too then???Hmmm...what i meant was; isn't GA the car club that TM's backs 100% and formally represents them.
Dunno how to explain what i mean any better, and im sure you know exactly what i mean by saying that too.

define "backs 100%" please. They buy their stuff and pay for labor just like everyone else....they might get a discount, but with the volume of work they have done there, I think that is justified. They don't only have their cars worked on at TM either, at least 3 or 4 members have approached me for stereo equipment....including 1 car who I sponsored 100% of the labor on and got him equipment at 40% below cost (IOW, he got manufacturer sponsorship for that as well as shop sponsorship).
But yes, they have a lot of their work done at TM, but they are far from being the "Tintmasters Car Club" that you are suggesting.

backs them?....you must be new to the scene, just because they put the tm stickers on to represent a good shop. they rep with them for away shows to bring an acknowledgment to the nd car scene. Tintmasters is not a car club. they are the only shop around that does good work on all aspects of a car.
so i would like to thank them for making the car scene what it is today and for the biggest car show in ND!! Woot Woot:icon_cheers:

and you are? intro please

I thought it was based solely on HP? I just have to bolt on my Wilson plate and plumb the intake with a fogger, write down 1850hp on the registration sheet and I should be a shoe in. Or if I get another car built this winter it will be twin turbo bbc anyway. But then I would have to hire JG to drive it!
The hood is easy to get off, the problem is where to put it once its off.

Oh snap!! Registering, I knew I forgot something!

Nice little clip. With that motor and a proven WHP you would likely win best engine bay...Bill had the highest HP number that I knew of there.

He has a nice car and getting all that stuffed under the hood deserves recognition.
He should have received the "Most Likely to Use His Parachute" award too.
That was my little old street car motor.
I believe matt and dave would take it just as soon as he would. If I were judging this car show(which I didn't) It would seem to me that the best Ccew award should go to people who were made up with an actual crew. Yes, There was 2 cars in GAs booth that arent active members of ground assault. But honestly Ethan, when have we ever seen any of those cars entered in the show with a playtime performance sticker on them? When have you ever went out cruising as a club in those cars? On top of that, GA took home more trophies than any crew, and they had a sweet display. I definitly was impressed by Playtime, VR and GA's setups, but it wasn't a "See how many vehicles you can convince to show together and make a cool display award." IMHO there shouldve been a best display and a best participation award, although I know that TM handed out PLENTY of trphies the way it was. I will not argue the fact that a bike is cheaper to make show worthy than a car, cuz I think that is kind of a stupid arguement.(as in it can be just as expensive)

Joel, stop stirring the pot please. I will agree that a best team display woulda been cool too
