So I read in the paper that they are allowing 4000 students in to games this year, and that's exactly how many students were let in to each game last year. 4000 tickets are still given for free, the only difference is that demand is high and to get in, students don't have to show up at the door way before the game as they can now just show a ticket. I remember back in the day for Sue games, if you didn't show up at the door 5-6 hours before kickoff, you weren't getting in. Now that football is so huge again and EVERY game means something big, some students won't be able to get in. That's the way it's always been at NDSU when football is the hot commodity.So lets see here. 13,000 students (or whatever the number is) and they only allow 4000 then being the gracious school they are allow a whopping 300 more. PLUS at the game even if you had student tickets they were turning away tons and tons of students. so id say around only 3600 or so were allowed in. People all over campus were bitching about it all day. Im sure they will change it soon...if they know whats best. I love in the paper they said something in the lines of "were doing the best we can to get the students in." .....ya...right.

Come on, only 4,000? There isn't a major school around here that doesn't charge for their school's biggest sports...
U of M football student tickets are $70 for the season.

I guess my response to you would be (assuming you have season tickets?) how would you feel if you showed up and they said to you "sorry were at maximum capacity." Even though you have a ticket in your hand.
Well, students are on the complete bottom of the totem pole with it all. The student section is in the general admission section. So when they 'run out of student tickets' they make you buy a GA one for $15. My question would be; since they are in the same section wouldn't that mean they have student tickets since they still have GA tickets and we have already paid for them weather we like it or not?

i dont see why they didnt just let those kids in. there may be 4000 seats available, but you can fit way more in there since everyone is standing. that might not be up to some fire codes though

I thought the Dome's max capacity was like 19,000 and change. Last years attendance was over 12,000 average for football games. You have 4000 chances to get a ticket in advance, if you wait too long join the rest of us and buy a ticket.
