Well after all the spam about it.... I went and bought it. It musta been something subliminal that got to me when I was deleting all the posts. I guess we will see how fun it is.

Sounds to me from what iv heard/seen its pretty much WoW.

From what I've seen thus far:

-Smoother gameplay than WoW w/o the cartoony feel....though the UI is similar to WoW

-Good storyline and different perspective on PvP environments. You can do things to help the cause of your city w/o ever engaging in PvP (or RvR - Realm vs Realm) gameplay.

-The attack/spells/buffs/etc... are brought in slower than WoW or EQ2 allowing you more time to get comfy with using them and figuring out exactly what they do and when to use them.

-They are actively banning people who buy/sell gold on their servers as it is a direct violation of their EUA.

-Stephen Bradley, Weshole and Myself all play on the vortex server (as our "good race" server) thereby making that server far more cool than any other server on any MMORPG anywhere.

It's fun as hell so far. Now I remember why I wouldnt buy these games in the past. They are addicting as hell.

Me and about 6 other RL friends play Order on the Iron Rock server.

Its no original Everquest but IMO it's definetely a good game.

Don't need a super computer to play it either. I built a rig just for this game.
Max settings are much more imperessive then WoW's max settings.

I played this game in beta, head start, and now on the live servers, and after playing WoW for 3 years, I feel that I'm well qualified to say this game kicks the shit out of WoW in almost every way.

let me teach you to play warcraft3, youll enjoy it. and you dont need much of a comp to play.

I didnt really say anything about it being nerdy. Im just not that into video games like that. I would give it a try cause its something i could do when my roomates are using the tv idk. Maybe ill let ya show me sometime.

But i doubt it would even work my computer is fuck. I dont think the cd drive even works anymore
