they installed some guage face overlays in my car and did a pretty bad job, i ended up having to buy a new gauge cluster for the car cuz they took the needles off and they never worked right, they did just "overlay" the gauges they took the stock ones off and placed the new ones over the holes and they lasted about a month then they started bubbling badly, but they didnt want to take care of the situation and fix the mistakes so i had to do it myself. so the cluster was destroyed, the overlays were destroyed, i ultimatily had to do the work myself with the help of a friend. but thats how i feel, my only experience with them and it was not good. sorry just had to ramble on

that work is pathetic. I dont feel like rambling on about it, but what exactly did the owner expect for the initial quoted $250? 250 bucks for prepping, painting, and installing a body kit? Yes, the price went up to $750 because the shop had to do some trimming and whatnot, but it was first quoted at 250 (if I read it correctly). But it sucks that the car, the kit, and the paint was messed up.
I cant even imagine how a shop like that could be in business (yeah, probably not for long now, but still). The paintwork is absolute crap. The first time I picked up an hvlp I did far far better than what this "shop" has showcased. The whole thing covered in overspray? The ridiculous screws on the doorsill. Come on.........
Honestly, I think there is a good chance I could grab a 15 year old with no experience off the street and he/she could do a better job their first try if someone with experience was there to just tell them what to do.
By the way, to anyone on here that has had a shop/friend/anyone paint and install a body kit for them, what did it cost? Out of curiosity. I cant imagine that any reputable shop could quote anything less than like $1500. Paint is expensive if you have someone do it. But $1500 is just a guess, I work on my stuff myself so I really dont know what stuff costs. Maybe its much cheaper than I expect.
