^ That's a pretty retarded statement. There's a big difference between the Evo and an everyday Lancer.
It's kind of like saying, 'Yes, the Evo is just a Lancer, but the SRT-4 is just a Neon.' But the Evo is miles ahead of the normal Lancer whereas the SRT-4 is still a pile of shit.
And a Mirage will always be a pile of shit, regardless of what's done to it. Still says 'Mirage' on the title, which means it will never be cool.

The thread on NA had something to do with how big of a POS this thing used to be and then how nice it was now. If I remember right it used to be straight rice.

I like it. that is a dumb statement saying it is just a mirage. I think the swap is nice and the car looks amazing minus the front bumper.

Its a nice looking car. Yeah its a mirage but look at all the swaps other people do and say its just this and just that, most are still really nice if that mkaes sense haha.

Im kinda suprised so many people are hating on it, it clearly is still a mirage and not an evo, but it is an evo swapped mirage, and a very nice one. He did a good job, may have spent more than an Evo on it, but it is unique and nice so who really cares. At least it is better than most mirages that just have "Evo" body kits on them and a big wing.

If there was an identically equipped mirage and evo...... i'd drive the mirage
I don't understand how this is not a practical swap?? equipped similarly the mirage has to weigh less than an evo
and comparing a civic to a RSX is just plain dumb...... they don't even have the same drivetrain configuration

But getting an STi swap to work in a 2.5RS can be done by anyone with a shred of mechanical aptitude.
I dunno, for all the money he's put into it, he could've had an Evo. I can understand doing it as a track only car due to weight differences, but why TRY to create an Evo when you could just buy one.
Hell, he could probably have gotten an Evo V imported and 'legalized' with less headaches.
