wiring issues

i got a 1987 rx7 wiring problem...i know nothing about these motors so much help would be appreciated...the ignition doesnt start the car but pushing the clutch in does...how does this happen? so if i push the clutch in when the car is running the starter starts:icon_scratch: so yeah....i got the car not running threw some parts in it hooked up a few connectors and it started on the first shot not sure if i fucked this up.. thanks guys

Yes, I think that you fucked it up.

Your ignition switch may be sticking in the "start" position and when you press the clutch it completes the starter circuit causing the starter to engage.

how may i correct this fuck up?

Do some troubleshooting first of all to be sure as there are a number of different things that it could be, but that is the most obvious IMO. You could either shotgun parts at it hoping it works or find some wiring diagrams and go at it with a DVOM.
