I-94 > bmw

It's ok, it happens to the best of us. For some reason the Moorhead side of I94 has beem really icey compared to the fargo side the last month or so. Luckily when I went off the interstate at 50 mph I was in my lifted jeep and did no damage.

You can thank those new worthless bridge additions that make the bridge slippyier(sp) than ever.

that sucks.
if you want to keep the car, this would be a nice time to do Aluminum radiator and cooling system parts, and an M3 front bumper. I don't think there's a lot of part-out value in a 325 - anyone that has an e36 is going to want M3 parts. And a 325/328 is a $5k car these days.
according to autotrader there are 592 E36s for sale right now, with this data
Highest Price: $14975
Lowest Price: $600
Average Price:$5389Based on the front tires, I'm guessing you were running pretty worn out all-seasons.
I bet you could put the front back together for under $1k, not including paint. It looks like the grill trim and front bumper / core support parts are all that you need. Fenders and hood seem ok from the pics.
Add $400 for the blizzaks you should have been running to begin with

Alternatively, sell it cheap to someone who wants to start an E36 track car. It's a coupe/5speed right? You could get a same-or-newer year A4 for small money these days.

that sucks, but like others have said, parts are not all that bad for that car, take off the broken plastics ect,(assuming insurance doesn't cover it) get a good look at the damage the straighten the metalwork that you can, and start buying a piece at a time, I've been there, it is rather disappointing. all in all it doesn't look that bad, the paint might put a dent in the wallet, but it is all up to what you think the car is worth. if you do decide to sell it let me know, i don't have a lot of money, but i love bimmers, i might be able to scrape up some dough for it. good luck.

Well it looks like I'm gonna end up parting/selling it. As much as I would love to have it fixed, I simply don't have the time to accumulate the necessary parts or to have it sit in a shop for however long (given it's my only transportation), and need a car as soon as next week. Sucks, but what can ya do.
SO look for a detailed thread in the classifieds in the next couple days spelling everything out.
