yeah, and he had a legit badge number etc. but the calling the number part is the funny part. I also double checked his info because the first thing I thought when she told me was: scammer.

The Forum picks and chooses who they publish things about. Not saying the FPD is all-powerful, but Unless its a major violation(sex charge, assualt, etc) they never post anything about the police. -

A co-worker of mine was blowing snow out of his driveway when we had gotten a big storm a couple months back and a cop drove by and started harrassing him about blowing the snow into the road, He then wrote a nasty letter to the editor of the fargo forum about the fargopd and they published it.
