I'm also not saying it's neccessarily right, but who am I to judge at this point? After all, it is up to them(MAW), is it not?

I am not trying to hold you down and piss on your head, or his. I am saying that if I were him (and I have been in a very similar situation) I wouldnt be looking for freebies, I would be focused on recovery. I will skip out of this thread and continue to wish him well. Having been told at 16 that I would never walk again I am sure outrunning the fuckers who told me that eh!

I have to agree with 63vette, Im all for being positive, and if you get something nice, cool. If you had said, should I ask for a trip to a tropical beach, or a foreign country, or to meet a celebrity, something reasonable, that would be cool. But asking for a bunch of very expensive stuff, and asking for everyone to do stuff for you, basically sounds like you are trying to pimp the system and get anything you can out of your misfortune....maybe im just not one to ask people for stuff very much.

Quit pumping for free shit and handouts already! I cant even beleive that you are looking to manipulate a great foundation like MAW, that stuff is for little kids who never had a shot at life, not for an adult that has gotten to do so much more than they could ever dream of. If i were you i would just be hoping to get some ass and a few BJs from some of the chicks in school. Get real man, your making me sick with all this begging.

I know MAW wont do anything for me, I was just stating "this would be cool", my condition is serious, ive been throwing up all night, my throat burns, this really sux. I do understand what you all mean and what you are saying. im not expecting any of this honestly, but if it happens it happens, and no, you don have to be terminally I'll for MAW.
