Entry into Canada by a US Resident:

Canadian law requires that all persons entering Canada carry both proof of citizenship and proof of identity. A valid U.S. passport, passport card or NEXUS card (see below) satisfies these requirements for U.S. citizens. If U.S. citizen travelers to Canada do not have a passport, passport card or approved alternate document such as a NEXUS card, they must show a government-issued photo ID (e.g. Driver’s License) and proof of U.S. citizenship such as a U.S. birth certificate, naturalization certificate, or expired U.S. passport. Children under sixteen need only present proof of U.S. citizenship.

On June 1, 2009, the U.S. government will implement the full requirements of the land and sea phase of WHTI. The proposed rules require most U.S. citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry to have a passport, passport card, or <u>other travel document approved by the Department of Homeland Security</u>.

• U.S. Military Identification with Military Travel Orders
• U.S. Merchant Mariner Document
• Native American Tribal Photo Identification Card
• Form I-872 American Indian Card
• Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) Card- Frequent Land Border Crossers — To expedite processing into the United States, U.S. Customs and Border Protection recommends using one of the above asterisked

US and Canadian Citizen Two Document Option**All U.S. and Canadian citizens who do not have one of the documents from the list above must present BOTH an identification and citizenship document from each of the columns below.

• Canadian certificate of citizenship without photoSo looks like if you're returning a Driver's license and birth certificate will do the trick. Now what about this enhanced driver's license? Well we in Manitoba are starting to implement them as well as other provinces. I did a quick search and found the following document which outlines what Canadian provinces and US states have them. It turns out that North Dakota does not have them and Manitoba does. So, with that in mind you can get back into the states with your ND Drivers' license and 1 item from column 2 above.

to avoid confusion, because every thread turns into a passport debate, we all drive our cars to the border, and just have the US cars park along the US border, and the Canucks park on their side. there for no confusion, nobody has to worry about passports, problem solved

Afterparty will be at Republic. Trust me you're gonna love the music in this place that night. DJ Dow Jones and Playboy DJ Tamara Sky (google her!) All my homies from Fargostreets will get passes to bypass the massive lineups outside with full access to the VIP area. Trust me, there will be massive lineups that night. Y'know how us Canadians like to work and party hard! This is by far the hottest club in the city right now and you guys will absolutely love it.
Pre-party will probably just be a lounging night. If you guys are really looking for one, I'll set something up.
