What is your paint issue?
The guy i bought my 03 from also complained about his paint and how it was chipping pretty bad and just looked "poor" compaired the paint on the 03. He had a 08 WRX sedan that was PSM in color. His 08 had more chips in the paint then the 03 did.

Exactly. I just washed my 08 WRX (Lighning Red) today and counted over 100 chips. Most of them on the hood and fenders. Some on the door, rear panels, and rockers. A lot of 08 owners have experienced this. Extremely poor quality paint on the 08 production line. My 07 had ZERO chips. I've seen cars that have 10 time more mileage and a LOT LESS paints chips.

take it back to subaru and have them cover it under warranty....or at least start the claim.

I've been all over the subaru forums. This forums was one of the last places I posted this problem. I was more seeing if anybody had the issue and if they had gotten a response from Subaru in some way. I will definitely be bitching till my eyes bleed to get this fixed up.
