Anyone else using A'pexi Power FC ECU?

I know quite a few people running them. From what i have seen, they are decent, but pretty basic. For the price they are pretty good, but I would probably go for something a little more advanced.

The datalogit makes it A LOT more user friendly.

the only thing the commander does is change basic settings. The only thing I use it for is to display different settings. Its useful because it will display 1,2,4, or 8 settings all at once. It also allows you to record and change timing and fuel settings. The datalogit allows you to change anything and everything with a computer. IMO the PFC is the best self tuning ECU out there for rotaries, not how they compare with other vehicles.

I thought it would catch more steam once the datalogit was developed, but I think it's kind of forgotten in the states, other than maybe in the rotary crowd.

The Halwin software with self tunning on the Haltech systems makes the PFC look like a kids toy
I am with Inspector
People have perty good luck with the PFC but it is basic, and the table resolutions are low

^ you must have missed where I said "IMO". Basic, yes. but it allows those of us who are not tunning experts to change crutial settings without having to pay an expert $400 to retune the car. The fc-edit software is clear and very well written. For cars with less than 500hp, I still believe the PFC is great for the rotary.
What does the halwin software have that FC-edit doesnt have? Im asking cause I am not familiar with that software.

IMO when you look at the similar cost of the PFC setup vs a standalone like AEM or Haltech there just isn't a question which is superior for the money being spent
What of these if any can the PFC do?
Closed loop idle speed
Closed loop electronic boost control
Boost per gear
NOS enable
Intercooler fan
Shiftlight
Aux. fuel pump
Anti-lag
Staging signal
2 step
Turbo timer
Load switch
RPM switch
Intercooler water spray
TPS switch
Hard and soft cut rev limiteraswell as have
4 aux. digital pulsed outputs (for PWM control)
3 analogue inputs and 1 digital input

you could change the exact same "crucial settings" just as easy or easier with a standalone
and the learning curve with Haltech's Halwin that i have been around isn't bad at all
IMO HP tuners has a steeper learning curve than Halwin to understand everything......... but once you know a bit about it, I much prefer HPT to Halwin even
