there is 1 bridge that we go over that is sort of like that one, its a steel frame though, but it is still scary when you drive up on it, hopefully the county replaces it before before we have a cat parked in the bottom of a river bed...

leveling a sugar beat field^?

haha looks alot easier that having a bunch of scrapers moving dirt. here in phoenix (going to school here) the farmers who use flood errigation use that same type of box scraper or whatever you might call it. from the looks of it they use a gps controlled hyrdaulic ram on the scraper to level fields.

That was one of my grandpa's relative. He didn't see that the center supports had washed out from the flooding and down he went. There was a road grader that had gone over it the day before. They had to cut the hitch off of the drill and knock the concrete down, push dirt into the creek to get a loader to lift the front of the drill up to get it out. I just saw that they had it all fixed and it was north of my grandpa's place. He has about 50 pictures of the whole thing.

and why have you not posted these pictures?^because i don't have them and i didn't think anyone was interested on here. i guess i was wrong. they had that loader dug into the ground and had a couple of block and tackles with cable to pull it out. my grandpa said that the tractor pulling had to drive almost a quarter of a mile with all the pulleys just to pull the tractor out. I will see if i can get copies.

im more shocked that we can figure out gps guidance systems and electronically controlled clutches for seed shut offs..
