I got some Bad news this week.....

Ok. For everyone who has met my girl/ex girl whatever you wanna call her... She is in Rochester now. She was life flighted down to the mayo clinic on friday... She had shunts installed between her heart and lungs when she was 12, and something failed... She needs everyones support... here is her caring bridge website...

she needs to have open lung/heart surgery, and depending on exactly what is wrong it could mean a lung transplant...

It all happened so fast... went in for a stomach ulser on wed night, crashed after she got to meritcare, and her stats were down in the 40's... they did tests on thursday... than on friday they decided to fly here down to mayo...

That is tough, but she is at the best place in the world for critical care. Prayers for her.

I am seeing way too many caringbridge sites these days. Its really hard when it hits home.
I hope it all works out for her.

It should work out if it is just the shunts... it will be the 4th time for that surgery so she is at least used to that part of it anyways... she is just really freaked out cause last time she had some bad recovery things, her incisions tore open and she woke up in a puddle of blood cause her heart cath popped too. That was when she was 12... so she is just freaked that it will happen again...

I am sure she will be ok. Shunts and caths kind of do that, weird as it sounds.

I can personally vouch for mayo being a great place. Im actually going to be there for awhile pretty soon...leg amputation. I will keep her in my prayers as well in my thoughts.
