the 3rd and 5th gear snycros are screwed as well. so the tranny needs to be rebuilt.

SO...in the end i was quoted 2500 for the tranny rebuild and clutch install (parts and labor) and if i wanted to i could get an lsd for the transfer case, with no additional labor cost.

That is 20,500 by itself, now lets add some more shall we

you must have skipped the part where i stated "without the price of the car"

trans and clutch together were 2500
            the turbo kit was 2700
engine was about 3500 (including my super secret head)
suspension, wheels, misc was around 2500

so right there im a little over 10k. my ditch incodent was payed for by insurance, not money from MY pocket. so im going to discard that.

i was given the spare diff and some $$ as a trade for wheels.

i dont know what another trans and clutch are going to run me, because i dont know if i am going to continue drag racing.

If you do other racing, you still will need 4th gear.

              PM me for:
              Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
              Diesel repairs or performance products.

How often did I DD my car? I daily drove my car until 2005, at which point I bought another car to DD. If you went to idrags for 5 years every weekend and only saw my car 4 times you must have been blind. Let alone, what does the clutchmasters integra have anything to do with this anyways? Because you're "out east" you must be tight with them I bet right? You and jonathan reynolds and norris probably kick it every weekend.

Ok, so i was wrong. But i wasnt at IDR every weekend.

and i was talking about the clutchmasters integra that does endos down the track...that whole driver mod thing. must be missing.

so between these 2 cars...there are 5 engine rebuilds (or new engines completly), 3 turbo kits, and a couple cages...i could be missing something. with out including the price of the car...id say they got me on this part, unless tufte decided the just give away these things.

the great part about it, is in the end its my money. i got a car to do what i want with. Like all cars, there are hiccups. not like your rx7 is bullet proof either. If you look at most fast cars, they break. kevins evo, daves supra, just 2 off the top of my head.

besides, why do you care so much anyways? not like its your wallet you gotta watch after.

i had no problem stretching out the gears to 8500, untill i lost 4th. but anything past that, and you will get gear lockout with a single disk clutch.

zac was ur 120mph on pump gas? I see your trans went out ? Didnt you just rebuild it? basic built trannys have gone 9's all day long with a twindisk.. BTW I went 11.51@125 on pump gas should go low 11's or high 10's with race gas and tires..

                                        any dyno number yet>?

I assume you have different gearing if your going 120 w/o using 4th?

Idk why or where the civic info got dug into this but to clear things up the gold hatch went 11.2@133 D16 w/ pistons, rods and stock sleeves, and a turbo kit. The white hatch went 10.57@140 w/ a B16 pistons, rods, stock sleeves and a 57 trim kit, also very little $$ invested. When i was running w/ those cars we had to put 1 piston inthe gold car due to bad gas and 1 clutch in the whiote civic other then that i broke NOTHING!
