You keep 'tagging' these threads with 'i see you'....we have 3 shop computers, my home computer, etc... If I stayed logged into a thread, it doesn't mean I have time to wait and babysit your next response. I'll respond when I can.I didn't 'start any hate', I simply stated if you want to openly hate, stay out of our events to avoid being asked to leave. We have many people that don't shop with us, or even competitors that come to events, and we appreciate it....This is directed towards those that are simply disrespectful. I'm not worried about you showing up to any events Matt, you don't have the nuts, or a computer to hide behind.
I do however, see your point Matt. I really do. Our customers are on a different level than what you are. They come in for everything from underbody lighting, to installing 'bolt on' parts, to tinting windows. We do a large amount of Subaru work, and recently have become very involved with the FD crowd. We will not turn away money, or turn away someone that needs something you'd consider 'gay' installed. Money pays rent and employees and is a necessary part of a business. If the area supported 3 'fab' shops in town, and we had demand, we would put our welder to work. Currently we are booked out until next Thursday, and that will keep me with a job, and keep our employees with a paycheck. Whether it is 'gay' or not, you should learn that money is money, and taking good care of customers will net profits down the road.
I would appreciate you finishing Brandon Stenslands manifold 11 weeks is a little ridiculous) in the near future so we can finish installing his 'gay' Full Race kit.
I will leave it at that. I am done addressing you (Matt), and Will. If anyone has particular questions about the Street Legal days, or anything further. Please PM me.
Fixed it for you Jason! I also think it might have been longer then 11 weeks

If someone came up to me and said "i'll give u $10 to put a park bench wing on my car", as much as I hate rice, fuck i'd jump to it...
Both sides of this argument do totally opposite things, and are both some of the best at what they do around... But in the end it's all comparing apples to oranges, so I see no reason for either side to hate on each other...

So what exactly has your shop done Matt that constitues a "Real Car"? IIRC Shanes Wagon ran a 12.. What car thats ever come put of your shop has ever done that? Not to mention, it looked nice, handled well and won numberous car shows. Quit tooting your own horn.
I believe its YOU who is the poser.
"HEY EVERONE LOOK AT ME! MY MOM LETS ME USE HER FLOWER STORAGE GARAGE AND ALL OF HER HARD EARNED MONEY SO I CAN START 20 PROJECTS I KNOW I WILL NEVER FINISH"
If thats not being a poser, I don't know what is. -

jesus you would think it's mid winter with the bitching going on in here.

So TM and the new track owner dont see eye to eye, so what! There are still going to be races they are just going to be more expensive, strict and less seat time. TM has done a great job working with the track in the past and this time things couldnt be worked out. This is going to be great......i bet that when there is a meet at TM all the haters are still going to be there. Just wait!

Let's see....a car that they have worked on....hmmmm....mine comes to mind (yes, I "only" ran a 12 with it....but the performance stuff they did worked well). Shane put in several late nights doing my TC swap and reinstalling my tranny (yes, there were issues at one point (only pointing out because someone will I am sure) but they were resolved in an EXTREMELY timely manner). They have also been more than helpful in providing me with "show" equipment over the years.
On the flip side Matt has done some welding for me over the years that has worked out very well for me as well. Both shops have a niche to fill. Both have talented people filling that niche. I don't see why the shops in this town need to hate on each others talents....in a perfect world they would refer business to each other to be a greater benefit for their prospective customers.

All i will say is that people in this town have a way of being two sided. those of you should know who you are.
and your right chuck i may have been in the wrong with what i have said, i'll admit that.
but what is said is said.
and for brandon and joel, kinda sad hearing you guys say that shit. as not one person will turn away free stuff because there just to good to be given things, i will not ever apologise for coming from a family willing to help me if i need it.
so i think this thread is done.
