And i would rather pay a little more for gas to not be driving back from the cities@ 32mpg in a loud pos tin can. Ever seen one of those get hit by a pickup? Theres a reason alot of people wont drive one. That and its fwd, which is ftmfl on all counts
i think we are trying to compare 2 very different things. Obviously for huge hp cars like 1000hp+ your going to run out of enough motor to even move enough air. But what i'm saying is your shit box domestics cant make a decent product. This isn't just who makes more power. Its that the only way those companies know how to make power is by going the easy route. God forbid your crappy domestic companies will innovate something worth giving a shit about.
And besides we dont need huge 1000+ hp cars to go fast. Thats the beauty of power/weight. We can go 9's with 450+

That is pretty impressive gas mileage, maybe ill get a car that gets mileage like that to drive around in the winter.
Having a car 'capable' of running 11's and a car that actually runs 11's is a big difference. :icon_queen:

Yea car ran mid 10's, its perty streetable (full interior, a/c etc). Not the best rwhp/liter ratio(~100rwhp/liter) or hp/weight ratio.
It does suck that i cant spin at 3/4 track:mad:. -

your ignorance is astounding, you really are as dumb as you sound is all im gathering from your posts. And put your money where your mouth is and go 9s with 450hp in a FWD. In fact, i challenge anyone on here to go 11s on street tires, not DRs, street tires and pump gas 91 in ANY honda FWD that you nutswing on all the time. I did it, on the first time to the track, and i got 24mpg on that tank, in a 364ci v8, not to mention i used it to haul a complete engine a couple days before that, and had 5 people in it a couple days before that, comfortably. The world does not operate on 4cyl hondas like you think. It operates on full size 4wd v8 pickups and suvs, which, BTW, are categories honda cant seem to compete in at all especially in fuel economy and capacity

Look up the emissions for 2010 diesels, this is the reason I don't have time to debate healthcare and import vs domestic. Gov't is making us diesel guys plenty of research and training just about mandatory to do our jobs with all the new epa standards.

as ANYONE knows that rwd is better for drag racing. just like mid engine is better for handling(weight distribution and all).

and ws6transam..... what does having a 11 sec car and having one that is capable of running 11's different? thats the same thing as saying i have a zr1 corvette it ran xx.x in the 1/4 mile.( by a pro). does that mean i don't have a car that runs xx.x in the 1/4?

also how does mpg NOT come into effect with a car. why would i build a car that get 8mpg with the same "potential" as a car that can get 25-35 mpg?

think about it a honda can go run 10's and still drive around getting 35+ mpg. that is impressive no matter how you look at it.
