Aside from gussets and welding the cage fabrication is complete.

Do you have any parts of the cage that go forward past the firewall?

                PM me for:
                Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
                Diesel repairs or performance products.

Will have bars that are braced to the firewall but for the classes im looking to build for bars piercing the firewall are not allowed. that and there really is no front strut towers in a miata that sit almost flush atop the frame rails.

I'll see what i can do, time is of the essence here and i haven't had much to dedicate to this. Rear diff, brake calipers and brackets are ordered, possibly be here this week then that should wrap up the drivetrain until the trans grenades.

It'll possibly see some street time thus i'll be keeping it as much street legal as possible.

Wow, is that whole cage made of 1-5/8"? If so, that car is safe enough for Spanky Spangler to take and go jump some bus's with.

Motor isnt built yet, right now trying to get all the chassis, suspension, driveline, and brakes complete and the car back as complete roller and go from there. Lots of work and lots of time that i currently dont have @ the moment.

Not a clue. If i remember correctly it weighed in the 2140lb range stock.

Rear brake rotor, pads, and driveshaft showed up today. Had to pickup a new longblock as the last swap suffered fron thrust bearing failure which in turn salvaged that longblock. Dropped off the other motor a week ago, may possibly see it back this week, then start assembling this weekend if all goes as planned.
