Just got this off the Tib forums and I thought some of y'all may appreciate it...

I believe there was a court case involving this very incident and it was ruled as theft not rape IIRC.

Theft of services? To me, that would be almost like a meth dealer taking someone to court for stealing their stash.

Except prostitution is legal in some areas, meth isn't.

If it was somewhere prostitution was legal, then the DA should press for whichever offense has the steepest penalties or both. If it was somewhere prostitution is illegal it would get thrown out of court if prosecuted as a "theft."

The final ruling was by the judge, it wasn't a jury trial.
