I went to the midnight showing of this movie at the Fargo Theatre down town. It was packed there. Movie was sold out. A buddy of mine had an extra ticket so I went not knowing what the movie was about or ever even seeing a trailor for it. Movie was hella good I thought. Cast was small so there was much bad acting. Was possibly the best scary movie I've ever seen. Idk. Kinda seems like that at the moment.

Great movie. I recommend going to see it. There were many people crying at the end they were so scared...

I've heard the buzz about this movie, it's supposed to be pretty damn scary.
      I'm sure I'll download it eventually. 😄

      Cyril Figgis: Call girl!

It was fairly scary, some of it was kind of dumb, but the dude was hilarious.

No... I went to the theatre? hehe they had screeners of it here in Minneapolis before it was officially out to judge audience response.

EDIT: It looks like the DVD Screener is out: http://www.newzleech.com/?group=&minage=&age=&min=min&max=max&q=paranormal+activity&m=search&adv=

I'd reccomend going to the theatre for it.

You can find a DVDrip of the original 2007 version on torrent sites, the only difference is the ending. There's a cam of just ending floating around too so you don't have to download the movie twice in order to see both endings.

                  Links, if your interested.
It says 2009 in the title but it's the 2007 version.

Here's the cam of the last part of the theatrical version.

I just finished watching it. Not a bad movie, especially in the FX department, considering it was was made by the two people that starred in it for $15,000.
I can't really say it was scary but it was quite suspenseful, you just couldn't wait to see what was going to happen once they went to bed.
After seeing both endings I think I actually like the original over the theatrical version. The theatrical version seemed a little too "Hollywood" over the top for what they were trying to achieve. The original had a more realistic feel, all things considered, while still achieving the same effect.
All in all it was good movie, definitely something that fans of the paranormal should go and see.

After a little search I found this, http://screenrant.com/paranormal-activity-recut-scenes-alternate-endings-kofi-31497/. I guess they did more tweeking to the film than just the ending. I guess I'll have to get the theatrical version when an R5 or a DVDrip becomes available to compare. I still think the original is worth a look though.

+1 I downloaded the 2007 version and the cam of the new ending and burned both onto a disc so we could watch it this weekend. My buddy had seen the theatre version and said there were a few things in the old version that were cut out for the new one. Some of it was just filler crap but there were a couple plot items that also got cut. Probably cause they were a little cheesy. But, all in all, it was a good movie. I like the new ending better.

yea she and her friends think its cool to be obnoxious...I find that disrespectful. its funny because I saw her not too long ago and asked her "so who was that boy that was with you and your friends in the top front row of the balcony at the movie?" she had this horrified look on her face and wondered how the hell I knew that lol.
