Pretty much said it all...Seems people are sticking with the Subies cuz there affordable(AKA CHEAP)...and realistic.
JKAs for if people could afford an evo they wouldn't drive a WRX...Well everybody could go oldschool lancer and get a 1991 Lancer GSR? HAHA

That and Subies are more supported locally. I can think of 3-4 people (Colin, Faber, Mike Wentz, myself) off the top of my head that work extensively with subaru's (not including Tintmasters, who has a fairly heavy Subaru following) that often act as a source of knowledge/knowledge on a daily basis with people here....all of us in different areas.

^+1...I am just giving you Subie guys crap haha. There nice cars and if i had the money i would buy one as well there are nothing wrong with them. But if i had a little more money i would buy a Evo over it but that's just my opinion. Both are very great cars though in my opinion.

It is the local following/support that has made subaru the "craze." .. and that is my gripe about it. Instead of seeing rusted hondas with fart cans and aem stickers fargo is full of wrx with fart cans and aps stickers.
i cant see how enthusiastic you can be about the car you drive when ALL of your friends have the same thing in a different color.

why should you care how common or uncommon a vehicle is? It either meets your needs and you enjoy it, or it doesn't and you don't.
I have a hard time beleiving that between the two, anyone would choose a FWD honda over a WRX or an STI.

it is my opinion that if everyone has one it is far less interesting. that is my opinion.
