the idea of "needing" a big pile of mods for auto-x probably misguided. Any thing you do to your car is going to likely bump you to a different class. If you don't know what mods your car needs and why it needs them (and in what order), bolting them on isn't going to make you more competitive. Especially if you don't lie about what you did to the car and get the car classed appropriately.
Fast drivers are fast in stock cars. Any year STI is so much car to begin with that the idea of asking how to mod it for parking lot mayhem is silly.
The best mod to go faster in auto-x is this: "suck less"

I can almost promise you that there is a large number of individuals on this site who's cars out perform their abilities, rather they admit it or not.....
