1970 opel gt help needed

i need to know what kind of engine i can put in to a 1970 opel gt. the car has no engine what so ever but has the tranny. so if there is an engine i can bult right up to it i want to do that. if any one can help that would be great. oh and it needs to be an engine i can find easy that has some good power.

is the f20c out of a s2000 by chance or is that the k series? i dont know much about the names for them to tell you the truth i can tear down a engine and build it back up thats about it. lol so when i get the car if any one wants to help restore it that would be great. ill buy the beer.

i found out that an l61 engine would work. but i dont really know.

The stock D trans, and just make a custom axle that will run back to the rear end, easy enough.
