I've said for years that the NFL should change their overtime rule to allow the other team to get the ball back if the other team scores on their opening drive, regardless of who is playing. It sure would have been nice tonight even though Minnesota didn't deserve to win.

Good game but bs calls fucked the Vikings. Could've been completely different outcome. Whatever

I dont think the saints deserved to win either. They got lucky on turnovers. But they didnt have more than a 100 yards in the entire second half. They did not play their best either.

I love how so many people are blaming Favre, yet the guy took so much abuse during the game and still played rather well IMO. Harvin cost us a possible 7 and gave them an additional 7. If only the good vikings had shown up that would have been a walk in the park...instead the typical NFC Playoff vikings showed up and handed the game to the other guy.

whered harvin cost us 7? i think you meant peterson on the fumble before half.

but he did hand them 7 on his stupid fumble.

The last thing the Saints should be saying today is WHO DAT. The Vikings had 5 turnovers!!! With 5 turn overs in a game, it should have been Saints 40+, Vikings 28. ~100 yards in the second half...who dat?!?

Favre will live with this play the rest of his life if he does indeed retire.

You just do not do this, look at the field. It is WIDE OPEN FOR A GOOD 10 yards! I know he is 40 years old, but run it out of bounds man! Instead, you throw it across the field over across your body? 😞

Horrible play on his part, but you have to account for all the factors in the game: The fumbles, the 15 or so knockdowns on Brett, ect. Collectively they played bad.

And also the refs. I know its so cliche to say such a thing, but honestly Saints MVP= The officiating staff.

.... you have to account for all the other loosing factors in the game: The fumbles, the 15 or so knockdowns on Brett, ect. Collectively they played bad.

THAT is a fact. Everyone is so hung up on Favre's interception(s). He did some things on that field that I don't believe most of todays QB's could. The guy played his heart out, and had we scored even ONE field goal on any of the red zone fumbles, we wouldn't have NEEDED the 7 yards to be in range for a winning fg, cause we would have been running out the clock and booking a trip to Miami.

The Vikings should have lost the game by many points...the heartbreak for me came because they were so close at the end...even tho they shouldn't have even been close. Minnesota defense was on point. Offense (minus Favre), was poor at best. I cannot believe I am giving props to #4 :icon_puke_r:
