2010 Tintmasters Street Legal Race Dates

Mark your calendars, for the following dates:

May 15th
June 12th
July 10th
August 7th-8th (2 Day Weekend: Camping, Racing, Car Show Trackside)
September 25th

October 9th - RAIN MAKEUP ONLY

All races are on Saturdays for 2010. The gates will open at 10am, and racing will begin at 12pm. Racing will go until the majority is done, or dark, whichever comes first.

Spectators: $7 ea
Racing: $35 per car

Tech Inspection: We will follow the criteria used for past TM Street Legal Days. As long as the car is 'street legal', you shouldn't have a problem! To clarify, the criteria used last year will not carry over into the Tintmasters Street Legal races. We will follow the same tech as we always have.

Details for the August 7th-8th weekend, will be coming later in the Spring. This year we have decided to try something different other than a show at the Fargodome. We have not 'quit' the Perfect 10 Show, but we are taking 2010 to try something other than a show inside the Fargodome. Pending the turnout for the weekend event at the drag strip, we may try and incorporate that event, along with the P10 show for 2011. Those of you that look forward to the P10 show each year will want to make sure you make this weekend event at the dragstrip, as this will be the only large car show we put on for 2010 (there will still be Show n Shines at both Fargo and Grand Forks locations as well). OMG, camping? I think I was hungover for a month after last time. Couldn't touch Jagermeister for like 2 years. I'd rather see this sort of weekend at the track with racing and a show any day. Great job guys, can't wait!

is there a way we can get some more info on the rules and tech inspection. Like is a helmet required, do we have to run a certain PSI in our tires and stuff like that. The 15th will be my first time at the track so i can get some base line numbers before i dig into the motor. I just want to make sure i have everything ready to go before the 15th hits. Thanks

Jason, will this mean I can run the bike with an armored textile jacket? I never did break down and buy leather.

low 12s, no tether, textile jacket and gloves, helmet, over-ankle leather boots. Got me through 2 years ago, should still be good then?
