haha to you suckers that use 45th st/94 on a daily basis.
FARGO – The North Dakota Department of Transportation began work today on a $7.7 million interchange project at Interstate 94 and 45th Street South that will snarl traffic at one of the Fargo’s busiest intersections.
Traffic on the 45th Street bridge will be down to one lane in each direction for the majority of the summer as the bridge is widened by one lane in each direction and a northeast loop ramp is added for northbound 45th Street traffic merging onto westbound I-94, said Kevin Gorder, assistant district engineer for NDDOT’s Fargo district.
Crews also will add auxiliary lanes on both the eastbound and westbound lanes of I-94 between 45th Street and I-29. That will eliminate the need for southbound I-29 drivers to merge into the driving lanes of I-94 when they’re trying to get to the 45th Street off-ramp.
it's a good thing fargo just didnt do the cloverleaf/extra expansion the first time they did it.

I've been dreading this since I saw it on the project list early last year.
Unfortunately there is going to be no easy way to get out of Osgood. Between the overpass work choking off I94, 45th being gutted from 32nd to 52nd, and veteran's boulevard never getting finished to 52nd like it was supposed to... I'm screwed in the mornings.
Gonna be a lot of long roundabout road trips on the bike this summer.

christ thered be so much less traffic back up if we didnt have to wait for the turn lanes to go ever 30 seconds.

how so, with the frontage roads?
None of those areas have nearly enough real-estate to have frontage roads. -

Yeah, its one less stage of the light cycle there. Good to see they're finally adding the other ramp now on 45th.
