Reckless Driving ticket claim- Legal advice please!
-
Honestly...I think this may have been inevitable, I have noticed you quite a few times hauling ass through campus...well over the posted speed limit. Yes, I understand most people don't drive the 15 through campus, but I know a few times you had to have been going close to 30. Slow down and you won't have this problem.

You did jury duty. Who cares? So have I. Jury duty does not mean you know everything about the law. Jury duty means you were just some underpaid person who sat in a chair and listened to some lawyer say some BS and you went into a room with some other people and stared at each other while someone else made the decision for the group.Did i say i know everything about the law? NO...OBVIOUSLY you didnt read the whole thread, i've taken numerous traffic tickets to court, and ive sat thru many other court hearings.
I guarantee you that if this does go to court, and the guy shows up and eurofan doesnt have a lawyer, he will lose. -
I'm guessing you were doing something to get his attention, some random guy isn't going to pick a random car and decide to try to get him a ticket.
If it does go to court as said already, if you don't have a lawyer its his word against yours and more then likely they will side with him and you will get the ticket regardless.
If you want drive dumb and speed you gotta pay the price to do so, if you can't do so without bitching, quite driving like a jackass.

35-45 in a 30? I dont really recall..At any rate.. can you really say someone was driving at a speed the constituents reckless with out a radar gun or some other method?
This is bs haha.
Well lets see here, even if it wasn't a school zone...
35-45 > 30.. You deserve the fucking ticket u dumb shit... u were speeding, therefore you should get a ticket... u don't like it then don't speed...

if you don't get a lawyer on this, you'll get fucked.
i had a conditions/care required ticket go to court. Cop never got a fix on me.
During examination, I made the cop admit that I was going UNDER the speed limit, going slower than he was, and that nothing i did was illegal, and that the only thing that might have been a safety concern was something he was worried i "might" do but that he actually did (enter a lane that might have had oncoming traffic).
But it doesn't matter. It's not justice, its not right or wrong, its the people in power reminding you that they are in power.
Lawyers have bought into the maintenance of the state's monopoly on violence. So they get a pass.
Get a lawyer and you'll be fine. Self defend and it's a crap shoot.

He has no proof. Innocent until proven guilty. You do not have to prove your innocence, the court has to prove your guilt. His word is not enough proof, and the dumb cop should have known that, but it was a campus cop.Wrong, this is America come on now. Similar situation happened to me. Some guy called me in and said I "almost hit his daughter". That was obviously not true. Year and a half later I get arrested. It was fucked up because I didn't do anything so I didn't remember doing anything, and I was being arrested. Long story short, took it to court, he won. I got a 500$ fine and like ten points of my license. You better have a damn good story because if he really is a retired police officer you are fucked. His word is obviously going to have more merit than the "punk in the cool car".

It cost me about $1000 but i didn't lose my licence and my insurance wasn't dropped. So it was well worth the price.

Yea they gets scared when you take them to district. They try and look for that quick money in the municipal court. If they win their not too many people are going to go beyond that, and thats what theyre hoping. I can almost guarantee you since they had no proof of you doing it and you take it to district, the city prosecutor will cut a deal with you, because he know he will lose and doesnt want to waste his time
