I got my camera charging and my alarm set. Im gunna try get a vid.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall
Torque is how far you take the wall with you -

I saw a shuttle launch in person from the outdoor viewing area across the water from the launch tower. Absolutely amazing.
The coolest thing was the sensation of "Seeing the sound". You are over 1 mile away [iirc], so the shuttle ignites the SRBs and starts moving but you cannot hear anything. It is moving vertically and you still cannot hear anything.
But inbetween you and the launch pad is this lake.. and coming across the lake towards you, the ripples and waves are getting a moving line of white caps.. the sound and energy coming from the launch site is affecting the water's surface and you can see it progressing towards you, like in slow motion.
It was a pretty cool experience.
Our national space program is a joke now. It took less than 70 years to go from the first manned airplane [the Wright Brothers] to putting footsteps on the moon. What have we done since then? What will we accomplish at the end of the 2nd 70 years of flight? Will we even have passed the moon yet?
