but proceeded to allow him to take pictures of a woman you may marry. That was what my Don Veto moment at the shop was about that day.

        1. Guy offers $XXX to come take pictures AT HIS HOUSE = strike 1

        2. Guy wants you to change in his bathroom/spare room = strike 2

        3. Guy pulls out a $200 camera to take 'professional pictures' = strike 3

        4. Guy wants you to put on Alice in Wonderland outfit and act secksay = strike FUCK OFF.

I understand that being offered good money to take a few non-nude pictures can be enticing, but there was very little to do with photography in ANY of those shots, hence the shit lighting, shit poses (not her fault), and ridiculous circumstances.

Just be careful with who wants to take pictures of your man hands is all!

Start with researching what the 4c's of diamonds are.

                a) find what style ring she wants (past, present, future/solitaire)
                b) find what cut she wants (princess, round, pear, etc...)
                c) find if size or clarity/cut is more important
                d) figure out your budget
                e) research stores for 'after the fact' customer service
                f) buy ring

If she doesn't like what you picked out for her, SHE isn't worth it. If she will only accept a $20k ring and you can only afford a $2k ring, she isn't the one.

I only suggest this to you, because I feel it may become worthwhile to you in the next year or 2 with your snuckom-buttercupcake-muffin lover...which is fine in my book.

I was referring to the 'big' purchase. In which case you won't get sad, but rather get into the fetal position and cry horribly for approximately 13 days.

This post pretty much sums up the last 2 pages...it's almost like a dinner buffet of info.

this thread is full of fail. if you bought a ring that you're still paying off 50 years after the fact then you did something EXTREMELY wrong. on all levels.

if you committed to her to get married why didn't you just propose? i mean youre going to want to start your 50 year layaway program as soon as you can.

When I get home tonight and my girlfriend asks, "Was it busy tonight?", I'm going to pull up this topic, tell her to read all of it, and then say, "Can't believe you just read all of it? Same here. That's how not busy we were."

                                        -09 Black Civic Si Coupe I/H/E/Tein S-Tech + FlashPro
                                        8600RPMs of ridiculously loud fury!
                                        -88 'Stang 306 Block/Cam/Gears/Pulleys/etc.etc. -SOLD ...then crushed.
                                        -04 SRT-4 Stage 2/Exhaust/Intake/Suspension/etc.etc. - SOLD ...then exploded.
Be happy I still don't have that car ^^ You thought my Civic was loud...pfft...
