idk explain why Aj and his women have been together 6 years now and he just got her a "promise ring" for their 6 year. why didnt he just get the real thing?why did u waste money on an engagement ring? i mean your gunna stay together forever anyway right? why not just buy the wedding ring?
I am just saying promise rings IMO are waste of money its like you wanna commit but your scared too at the same time...
As for the engagement ring comment I'm glad I will be able to give you a lesson on this so for when you make the leap from promise to engagement ring. The engagement ring usually is the "big" ring of the 2 or 3 whichever you choose to buy, (Me I'm buying 2 wedding bands because I personally like the way it looks on her finger when the engagement ring is in middle of the 2 bands), it's the one that means the most in the set. It sits in the middle of the wedding bands.
Also, not a cheap ass... But to each it's own...

to each their own then. you buy the ring you think looks good on her finger. i buy the ring she wants on her finger. not my finger, i dont have to see it everyday. i bought the one she liked and wanted. not the one i thought would work for her.

Guy offers $XXX to come take pictures AT HIS HOUSE = strike 1
-
Guy wants you to change in his bathroom/spare room = strike 2
-
Guy pulls out a $200 camera to take 'professional pictures' = strike 3
-
Guy wants you to put on Alice in Wonderland outfit and act secksay = strike FUCK OFF.
I understand that being offered good money to take a few non-nude pictures can be enticing, but there was very little to do with photography in ANY of those shots, hence the shit lighting, shit poses (not her fault), and ridiculous circumstances.
Just be careful with who wants to take pictures of your man hands is all!

No that's just the way Tiffanys is, those are the "cheap" ones...and with that comes the territory of spending thousands of dollars on sumthin you will get no use out of, and the constant thinking i wish i had that extra 20k right now... or hey look im 72 and im still paying for the ring i bought 50 years ago that she doesnt wear anymore

a) find what style ring she wants (past, present, future/solitaire)
b) find what cut she wants (princess, round, pear, etc...)
c) find if size or clarity/cut is more important
d) figure out your budget
e) research stores for 'after the fact' customer service
f) buy ringIf she doesn't like what you picked out for her, SHE isn't worth it. If she will only accept a $20k ring and you can only afford a $2k ring, she isn't the one.
I only suggest this to you, because I feel it may become worthwhile to you in the next year or 2 with your snuckom-buttercupcake-muffin lover...which is fine in my book.
