that car is slow!

This is an odd combo. GM engine in a ford. Did he allready have the pontaic engine and decided to put it in his car? In my opinion, he would have had better luck sticking with a sbf engine or even a bbf engine than going for a big block GM engine, especially one that isn't as popular as a big block chevy. I wonder if that thing goes like stink.

was this the alleged 9 sec mustang? ran like 14's right?Traction my friend.

I don't think that car would have hit 9s if he did have slicks on his car.
-
Hell I only lost maybe 3 seconds max when I snubbed my car out at the track.
-
i never said it would hit 9's but the reason it ran shitty was because of no traction.

your telling me radial tires and a stock 5.0 i'm assuming? Put you into the 12's? show me the slip and i'll beleive you. As for the 88 i could care less if you think it's fast or or not. All i'm saying is 14's were not it's full potential i mean come on 462 CI in a notch i think would fair better than 14's thats just common sense.

i dont know about you but i had a stock suspension, radial tire mustang go into the mid 12's............. and with a stock motor, just admit it its slow!
This comes back to what you think is stock.Anything done performance-wise (i.e. headers) is considered not to be stock anymore.
