Hello.... Newbie here

welcome to the street...nice cobra very pretty

It's OK John. When you come down you'll have Ricky and we'll introduce you to Schell. You three can have your own boosted mustangs circle jerk.

Ever look into just putting a big turbo on there instead of a s/c?
I have seen REALLY BIG #'s off of turbo'd Cobras.
-
yah more domestics! Welcome, you spend any time in Fargo?
-
No turbo for now. I am happy with the car as it is.... for now. The Whipple or KB setup would be something I could just bolt on in my garage. Plus, they can put out more than enough power than I can handle. I was actually saving up the $$ and getting ready to put a turbo on my 98 Cobra, but decided against it and put the money down on this car.
I spend very little time in Fargo, but I am looking for a girlfriend, so I can make trips down there and get away from my wife...
Just kidding. My wife and I want to get out of Minot a little more this summer, and want to hit up Sabin. For some reason, she wants to race this year.
I used to have a SHO, it saved my life when I got into a pretty bad wreck. 93 auto, comfortable, and fast. Liked it a lot.

You got any parts left from the SHO? what does your wife drive?

Is there a forum dedicated for me to post pics?

I have an 04 Focus... SVT didnt even hit it out of the in-field with this car as far as performance. The 6-speed transmission kicks ass and would be even better if the first gear was so god damned long, and there is no way to change gearing because it has 2 final drive gears.
it sits at 170hp 145tq N/A with a compression ratio of 10:2:1, but has forged rods, cast aluminum pistons, oil squirters, and a bunch of other very nice engine modifications that just beg for boost. If only SVT would have lowered the compression and thrown a supercharger or turbocharger on this car!
The suspension is where they really put their time and money into the car, it handles like a dream and is an auto-x beast for a factory car. Slap some coil overs on and strut tower braces with an Quaife LSD and the corners would fear this car.
Now the new Ford Mustang GT500 (SVT) that comes out next year is going to blow any other SVT out of the water ( minus the ford GT supercar of course ) and then a year after that they are having the Ford Explorer Sport-trac SVT which will kick some ass too.

^Thanks for the run down...kinda.
